Bryant Searcy was a loving husband and father. He was passionate about health & fitness, spending time outdoors, and listening to old school and new school music. He was also a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed riding any opportunity that he was given. Bryant was a fun person to be around and was rarely seen without a smile on his face. He enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. Bryant could give you words of wisdom when you were confused, offer a joke if you were sad, or suggest a book he was reading to impart knowledge. When you left his presence, you felt encouraged, empowered, and inspired. He always made sure to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to those who didn’t know. It was hard to steal his joy. He made sure to be a light in this world of darkness. Whether it was leaving Bible verses with money attached to them around his workplace or sending motivational videos to his friends and family, he embodied the Toni Morrison quote, “If you are free, you need to free somebody else. If you have some power, then your job is to empower somebody else.” He wanted to give everyone access to the joy he experienced on a daily basis. Though he is gone, his legacy will forever live on.
